Fermentation 101: An Introduction

Veggies, Herbs, Salsa and Water Kefir--Part One!

An introduction to Lacto-Fermentation and Water Kefir. We'll be making three different vegetable/herb/salsa ferments to take home with us....and we'll take a look at our new pet, water kefir!!

Friday, March 27th, 10am-1pm

10:00--get settled and introductions

10:20--intro. to lacto-fermentation and taste-testing!!

10:45-11:45--cultured salsa, carrots, and herbs

11:45--break and Water Kefir Intro.

12--lunch break

12:30-- Water Kefir, Part One

1--Feedback and Clean Up

GB's house in Dripping Springs (separate email with directions)

Mamas with babies and children welcome! Our flow will be flexible!!!

What to Bring

pen and notebook

your favorite clean dishtowel

baby carrier (recommended when we're making fun stuff, but you know your babies best!)

small knife for slicing

packed lunch
