Principal's Message
Hello Wildcat families,
Thanks to everyone who came out for our Back to School Picnic. It was nice to connect with so many students and families. Our PTO deserves a huge shout out for making this event happen. It was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who contributed to and participated in this event.
We had a wonderful first week of school. The students are settling into the routine of school again and things are running smoothly. Big thanks to those of you whose kids are ready to jump out of the car when they pull up at carpool. Many are getting better at this and it helps so much with speeding up the carpool line.
There's a lot of good information in today's newsletter.
Enjoy!
Stephanie Haga

No Visitors for 1st 9 Weeks
The no visitor policy applies to lunch visits, classroom helpers and any volunteer position where you would be in proximity to, or with students.
Thank you for understanding. We want to partner with you, and when the time is right, we will open our doors and welcome families back inside! For now, we will do our best to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
From our Clinic
Please add the Clinic phone number to your contacts so you don’t’ miss an important call if we need to reach you. 470-254-0860. Please review Infinite Campus to make sure that phone numbers are correct, and any medical conditions are listed.
Students are not permitted to carry any kind of medication in their backpacks. If you have a student who requires medication to be administered during the day, please contact the Clinic for the appropriate forms, and care plans.
Please send in your student with a mask every day, and a few spare ones in their backpacks. They often are dropped, wet, or soiled during the day and a spare one is needed. This avoids unnecessary trips to the Clinic during the day. If you would like to provide your teacher with a box of masks, it would be greatly appreciated by all!
Thank you!
I have probably given out 20+ masks a day!

COVID Reminders
Parents and guardians,
You are our first line of defense against COVID in our schools. If you, or someone within your household is sick with COVID symptoms, please don't just assume it is something else. The safest thing to do, is assume that what you have is communicable until you know differently and keep your child home.
If your student has had interaction with a person who is positive for COVID, if they have tested positive, or if your child has been given a COVID test, please report that to the portal .
All of the information needed to make a report is HERE or on the front page of the District website at www.fultonschools.org
Device User Agreement-Action Needed
All 3rd-5th grade students will be issued a county purchased device this year. This device will be used during the school day and will be left at school unless the school has to shift to remote learning for any reason, at which point the device will be sent home.
Students who receive a device, are subject to the "Device User Agreement" linked below. Please go over this document with your child so everyone is aware of the responsibility associate with these devices.
Code of Conduct-Action Needed for students age 10 and up
Fulton County Schools has made its Student Code of Conduct & Discipline Handbook available online in PDF format, and it can be accessed by clicking here. Once you have read the electronic version and have reviewed the contents with your child(ren), please take a moment to complete the Acknowledgement of Receipt Form in Infinite Campus. All parents and students (over 10 years old) MUST sign this form found within your Infinite Campus Parent/Student Portal account.
This link was also part of your back to school checklist, but I heard some people had trouble with it then. The link should be working now.
