The world of science
us. Change in science is important and while we are not working on things like printing organs and looking at stars trillions of miles away we all had to start somewhere and with every theory came a new challenge.
A brilliant example would be Aristaruse of Samos vs. Copernicus, two theory's on the orbits of earth and our galixy geocentric1 and heliocentric3. Aristaruse believed in the geocentric theory which stated that the earth was the center of the universe and everything orbited the earth. This theory was made in the third century with little to no technology but was still logical and accepted as the norm until the 16th century when Copernicus came along. He , like many other scientists of his time, challenged the ideas of the old. By using the technology available to him, he proved the geocentric theory wrong and came up with the heliocentric theory. The theory stated that the Earth and planets revolve around the Sun at the center of the Solar system. By challenging the ways of the previous scientists, he contributed to this large group of people thinking in new was and contributing to what people were starting to call the scientific revolution
The ideas of Copernicus still stand today as well as many others such as Newton and his universal law of gravitation. Newton's law of universal gravitation states that any two bodies in the universe attract each other with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The scientific revolution was also made up of other ideas like rationalism,a belief or theory that opinions and actions should be based on reason and knowledge rather than on religious belief or emotional response. Leading to less biased thoughts and this goes hand and hand with inductive reasoning,is reasoning in which the premises seek to supply strong evidence for the truth of the conclusion. Probably the most important of them all is the scientific method that is still the standard for conducting a proper experiment today this new way of organizing thoughts led to so many discoverys.
So to conclude science has come a long way and isn't planing on slowing down all thanks to some genius thinkers and methods the a made and redone until perfection.
