Figurative Language

Using figurative language like similes, metaphors, personification, onomatopoeia, etc. will enhance the imagery in your story and make it more interesting.

Interesting Adjectives

Always refer from using boring adjectives, describe verbs and nouns in interesting ways with interesting vocabulary.

Ba Da Bing

Ba da bing whats that? you may ask. A ba da bing is a type of sentence that will put sensory imagery and details into your story. To create a ba da bing you need to start with where you where, what you did and what you thought. To truly make a good ba da bing you need to use good vocabulary and figurative language.

Example:

I stepped softly on the soft white sand as i thought to myself, "this going to be great".





Dialogue

To make writing fun and more interesting to read, dialogue is the way to go. Dialogue is great but only if you know how to use it correctly. When using dialogue make sure that you are using interesting verbs to describe the way that they are speaking. You always need to make sure that you do not use to much dialogue



Editing

When you are done with your stories make sure you go over your story to make sure that you have correct spelling and punctuation, indents and correct spacing in between words,write uses of dialogue, etc.
