Background Information: Coach Gibson was born and raised in Levelland and graduated as the valedictorian of LHS in 2014. She played volleyball, basketball, ran track and was a baseball team manager. She went to Texas Tech University with an original plan to be an athletic trainer (did a one year internship as a student AT for TTU football, softball, and track). While in college, she coached club volleyball for several years at NEXT Level. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and later received a math teaching certification. She has taught 5th grade math the past 3 years and this is her first year at the high school. Outside of teaching and coaching, coach Gibson is a workout instructor at Pure Barre Lubbock. She is married to the assistant baseball coach, Josh Gibson, and has the most perfect 7 month old daughter named Harper!

Most Interesting Thing About Coach Gibson:

Her knees are hyperextended! When she stands normal, it almost looks like her knees are backwards! She also studied abroad in Spain for 6 weeks.
