PLP Offering
Join us for a SLOW Twitter chat as we explore the "5 Myths About Classroom Technology". Over the course of five weeks, beginning November 7th, you will read one myth per week and post your thoughts on Twitter. Not only will you read the posts of your co-workers, but you will hear ideas from three other schools as we join forces to dispel the myths surrounding technology in the classroom and improve our instruction. Princess Anne Elementary and Diamond Springs Elementary will be joining in the fun! Creeds and North Landing are invited to sign up for the PLP, earn 5 points, and learn from teachers in other schools. What a great opportunity to grow your PLN! Registration is now open! Look for "SB-E034 5 Myths Book Study Twitterchat". Don't have a Twitter account? No problem! I'll help you get set up so you can join the book study.
New Instructional Tools
Be sure to check Frontline (formerly MLP) for other PLP courses being offered. I recommend attending a BrainPop session or a Wixie session. Both are great tools for the students to use! There are more sessions on Google, too!

Graphic Organizers in Padlet
Have you heard of "The Techie Teacher"? She has a blog with some fantastic instructional ideas. A recent post discusses using graphic organizers in Padlet, and she even offers some as a free download and a tutorial video. What a great small group collaborative activity! Need help? I would love to assist! Just let me know!
Schedule
I'll be at Creeds on Mondays and Tuesdays, and North Landing on Thursdays and Fridays. I'll alternate Wednesdays. The link to view my calendar is at the bottom of this flyer.
