Student Weekly Updates for Southside High School
Monday Mission
Update on last week's mission: Emily King, Bayleigh Lugo, Sara Kate Yancey, and Jordan Holloway were spotted showing extra kindness last week! Come see me (Mrs. Tucker) this week for a sweet treat!
This week's Monday Mission: Draw a smiley face and place it on someone's desk when they are not looking. Hopefully this will brighten someone's day! Share the experience with me here or when you see me this week! #MissionMonday

Please Be At School!
We need your help with improving our school attendance! We need you at school everyday, on time, and please do not check out unless it is absolutely necessary! Everyday Counts!
If you are absent, please turn excuses into Mrs. Rich in the front office.
Did you know that the Alabama State Department of Education defines chronic absenteeism as any student that misses 18 days of school, regardless of whether the absence was coded unexcused or excused.
Our school attendance is an important part of our school report card, but more importantly, WE WANT YOU HERE AT SCHOOL WITH US!
Attendance Really Does Matters!
Students - Please remember to check your Schoology class group! Important information can be found in these groups. If you don't know what this is, ask a teacher! They will help you find your class group in Schoology.

Seniors will be eligible to register to win a car each nine-week grade period that they make the A-B Honor Roll.
