The Tiger Times
The Monthly Franklin Family Newsletter - December 2021
Happy December!
We have just three weeks this month to pack in a lot of learning and a lot of excitement at Franklin! See the calendar notes below for everything happening before we head off to Winter Vacation.
We hope this week you learned a lot from the information in your child's report card. If you have any questions about your child's progress or learning needs, please reach out to their teacher! Teachers will be thrilled to hear from you and to continue the conversation!
This month we will be having our first big fundraiser of the year to raise much-needed $$ for the Franklin library. The Read-a-Thon led by Ms. Khattab will be an amazing way to encourage your children to READ, READ, READ in a fun and motivating way. See details below!
And for those of you still interested in getting your child vaccinated in a local and easy location, there will be a Vaccine Clinic hosted at San Antonio Park this Friday 12/3 from 4-8pm.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us by emailing Franklin@ousd.org.
Have a wonderful, safe and healthy month, and thank you for all you do!!!
Our best,
Ms. Lai & Ms. Sufrin
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE BRAVE 4TH & 5TH GRADE STUDENT COUNCIL CANDIDATES!
