Guidelines for Success

At Patterson Elementary, Pumas have PRIDE!

I will be prepared and ready to learn.

I will show respect to myself and others.

I will model integrity by being trustworthy.

I will make smart decisions.

I will have empathy by showing kindness.

A Note From The Principal

Hello Patterson Families!

Thank you for supporting our school community Friday at our first Fall Festival. It was a fun night while supporting Patterson Elementary. Thank you for the Patterson PTO for a successful school-wide event!

Next week is Generation Texas week. Our counselors, Mrs. Zuercher and Mrs. Kelley have created daily lessons for our students about options after high school. We hope our Pumas have fun dressing up each day:

Monday - Wear neon or bright colored clothing

Tuesday - Wear any of our Conroe feeder school shirts: Patterson, Bozman, Stockton, or Conroe High School

Wednesday - Wear a college t-shirt

Thursday - Dress as a career you are interested in

Friday - Dress as a superhero

Positive reinforcement is not just for kids! We'd like to reward our hard working Patterson staff by collecting $5 to $10 gift cards (Target, Starbucks, Walmart, Sonic, Chick-fil-A, etc.) as fun incentives. Please drop them off in the front office. This cannot be done without your generous donations.

Please help keep everyone safe by staying in the car rider line if you are bringing your child to school in the morning. Buses unload in the front of our school and walking through the bus zone is not safe.

Our school hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., however our doors are open to students at 7:15 each morning. Breakfast is from 7:15 to 7:55 and students are considered tardy at 8:00 a.m.

Please follow Patterson Elementary and Patterson PTO on Facebook for updates, reminders, pictures, and campus happenings.

I am honored to serve the Puma community. At Patterson Elementary, it is our goal to create a safe, caring, and positive learning experience for all children. I will nurture a school community where parents, teachers, staff, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social/emotional growth. I look forward to working together to provide an outstanding learning experience for every Patterson Puma!

We are Patterson Pumas and we have PRIDE!

2024-2025 Academic Calendar Input Survey

Conroe ISD is seeking input on the development of the 2024-2025 academic calendar. Please complete the survey linked below by November 15.

Cell Phone Policy Changes

The Conroe ISD Board adopted new guidelines regarding student cell phone use during the October Board meeting. While it is not a substantial guideline change at the elementary level, there are changes in which parents need to be aware. Our Foundations team is working to ensure that these procedures are being implemented on our campus and that we are helping students adapt to these changes. The student handbook is currently being updated to reflect these changes. The new guidelines state the following:

  • Cell phones and smartwatches may be used respectfully and responsibly before school and after school.

  • Cell phones and smartwatches should not be used to capture video, audio, or images at school or on the bus.

  • Cell phones and smartwatches should be set on silent mode and kept in backpacks, lockers, or other designated storage areas and should not be visible during school hours including instructional time, reward time, free time, lunch, and in the hallways.

  • Use of cell phones and smartwatches may be permitted in extenuating circumstances with permission from a staff member. (ex. to notify parent/ guardian of a late bus)

Bartlett Elementary Rezoning

Bartlett Elementary is a new school opening next year. Their will be changes to the Patterson attendance zone. The committee's efforts for establishing the 2024-2025 elementary attendance boundaries related to the opening of Janet K. Bartlett Elementary School are continuing. Updates, FAQs, and summaries of the public meetings on the process are accessible at

CISD Automated Library Notifications

Conroe ISD Library Services enabled daily email notifications, so you are informed of the items checked out by your student. Daily emails will list the item(s) currently checked out. If the book(s) your student selected is not a good fit, please have your student return it to the campus library and choose a new title. If you have questions about the book(s), please contact the school librarian. Notifications for these daily messages can be managed in Parent Access Center (PAC). If you don’t have a PAC account, you will need to register for one to access the email settings. You can also view the item(s) your student checked out by logging in to Destiny Discover through your student's SSO account. You can further manage your student’s access to library materials by completing the Library Access Form found on the Library Services website along with viewing other helpful information. Please do not reply to this email as it comes from an unmonitored email account.
