Camp Wolverine
There is a packet of information and a letter from the 4th grade teachers about camp in the Friday Folder. Please look it over and let me know if you have any questions.
We are asking that permission slips and payment be turned in by Jan. 6. Parents, if you would like to attend we need to know by Jan. 6.

Students also continued their unit on character analysis.
Writing
This week for writing students wrote the final drafts of their personal narratives. They are hanging in the hall.
We ale started our new unit on persuasive writing and students got a brief introduction by writing a letter to Santa.
This week for language we learned about coordinating conjunctions. Don't worry I exposed your kids to School House Rock! They loved it! I've attached the YouTube link:

I would like to contact the Humane Society to see if they could stop by with a few of their dogs in the afternoon of the 19th to pick up our donation. Please let me know if you child is allergic to dogs or cats or is afraid of dogs or cats. The students do not know about this yet...so they won't be dissappointed if the animals don't stop by.
