Crabs in the Chesapeake Bay are being killed and over harvesting by fisherman who are over fishing the crabs. But the blame isn't 100% on the fishermen, the common man is also to blame for the use of fertilizers that goes into the bay and over grows the algae. And makes the crabs oxygen levels drop to dangerous levels.

Fishermen in the Bay over fishing the crabs and there not being given the time to repopulate in full cycle. And its slashing the crab population by an alarming rate, and its hard for any crabs too build up the population.
