Please note that Mrs. Moss will be out periodically during this week conducting formal observations for The College of The Bahamas.

DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE MORNING GUARDS

The following persons are assigned to distribute late slips this morning:

1. Mr. Malkovich Taylor

DETENTION ROSTER

Teachers are reminded to submit the names of students who are to be in detention this Friday to Ms. Robinson tomorrow afternoon to ensure that letters are distributed in a timely manner.
Nurse Mortimer will be in Mrs. Ryan's office from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

REGISTRATION FOR GRADE ONE

Registration for grade one students is ongoing. Requirements for registration are as follows:


  • Student must be present
  • Student Permit (for non-Bahamians)
  • Birth Certificate and/or passport
  • Passport photograph
  • Passport of parent/s
  • Immunization Card
  • National Insurance Card
  • Cable/telephone/electricity/water bill (showing proof of where you live)

PRIMARY PRINCIPALS' ASSOCIATION'S MOVIE DAY

The Primary Principals' Association's movie will be held today. The cost of this activity is $12.00 which includes the movie, hot dog, drink, popcorn and transportation.

EXAMINATIONS

End of month examinations begin today for students of grades 2, 4 and 5.

District examinations begin today for the students of grades 3 and 6.

Grade one students will continue with the Ages and Stages examination.

SCHOOL BOARD MEETING

There will be a school board meeting at 12 noon in Mrs. Moss' office. School board members are asked to be on time.

TEACHER OF THE YEAR ACTIVITES

Ms. Culmer will be attending the Medal and Certificate Presentation at Government House at 11:00 a.m. In addition, this evening at 7:00 p.m., the Bahamas Union of Teachers will host a reception at Bristol Cellars.

The following persons are assigned to monitor detention this afternoon from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Detention will be held in grade six and students must bring a sharpened pencil. In addition, teachers please be reminded to submit the names of the students for detention to Ms. Robinson every Tuesday afternoon to ensure that letters are distributed on Wednesday.
