March 2021
Dear Meadowvale Families
Happy March everyone! I know how all of you are looking forward to brighter (and warmer) days ahead as spring gets closer and people are getting vaccinated. Please know that we will continue our COVID practices until further notice. Even though more people will be vaccinated, it is important not to let our guard down. Always read our Superintendent Anstadt's weekly email for the most current information. You can also find updated information and a school calendar on the WLS website (https://www.wls4kids.org/).
As March begins, we have some exciting activities planned at Meadowvale. Yesterday, we celebrated Dr. Suess' birthday (see pictures below) and next week we will have a St. Patrick's Spirit Week. Of course, I know everyone will look forward to Spring Break beginning April 2nd.
"It's a great day to be happy!"

Marco's Pizza Night is Tuesday, March 9th
Take a night off from cooking and enjoy Marco's Pizza! Ordering on Tuesday, March 9th will help earn money for our school and can win a Pizza Party for your students class!
Congratulations to Mrs. Hetzel's 2nd grade class! They won a Pizza Party from our February Pizza Night!
Congratulations to Mrs. Wagner
We are excited to announce that we have a new home for community flyers on the district's website! They can now be found by clicking the link below, or by going to the district website and clicking on District > Community Partners > Community Flyers.
This link will be used in place of sending community flyers (YMCA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church trunk-or-treats, etc.) home in student's book bags. Any approved WLS flyers will still be sent home with students (anything directly related to or sponsored by WLS), but any community flyers will now be placed on the website instead.
Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss
