Student Council Delivers Valentine Lollipops
The student council helped 6th graders raise money for their end of the year event. Students in all grades were able to buy lollipop valentines for themselves, friends, and/or teachers. It was so popular that they sold out! The 6th graders raised $477.36.
There was a survey for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders after the fundraisers to get their opinion about the fundraiser. 73% of students surveyed said Northside should do this fundraiser again. 40% of students thought everyone in the class enjoyed the class, and 49% of students said maybe.

Jumanji Movie Review
I enjoy this movie. The actors did a good job playing their “role”. The special effects are cheesy, but that is what makes this movie enjoyable and back then they didn’t have good cgi effects.
The story is about a kid named Ben Perish and he finds this magical board game and he magically gets sucked up in the game, BUT a couple years later he comes back and gets help from 2 little kids and his friend (from his childhood) because he has to finish the game he started.
The movie gave me a Indiana Jones vibe. I thought the music and the adventure scenes were a little similar to the music and the adventure scenes in Indiana Jones; that’s just my opinion, BUT if you watch this movie you will probably understand the similarities. This movie is not bad and its enjoyable.
One thing I didn’t like about the movie is the lack of chemistry with the group of people. The movie didn’t really show that much of the relationship of the group because the movie was a little too focused on the board game. It didn’t take the time to focus on the chemistry with one another and I’m a little disappointed that the movie didn’t show the chemistry with one another because I wanted to know how everyone felt with one another because I’m curious about a character’s emotion and chemistry with another person.
I give this movie an A- for good acting, great adventure sequences, and a great plot. In my opinion, the movie didn’t show that much of the chemistry with one another in the group.
Bye readers, see you next time!
