Conferences Next Week!
Use this Sign-up Genius to reserve a virtual conference time with your child's teacher.
How will you meet virtually with the teacher?
You will use the same Zoom link your child uses to attend class. In fact, feel free to use your child's Chromebook. Join the Zoom about 5 minutes before the conference is scheduled to begin. You will be in the teacher's Zoom waiting room until the time of the conference. Please understand that the teacher will need to stay on schedule for the next conference, so if you need more time, you will need to schedule a different appointment to continue the conversation.
NOTE: Be sure to choose the correct teacher on the Sign-up Genius. Scroll across the tabs on top to find the teacher(s) you need. The first tab that will open is for 4K conferences.
Food Drive for Human Concerns
This year is the 7th Annual Food Drive for South Milwaukee Human Concerns. All six SDSM Schools participate in this food drive. This year is a different kind of a year, but a year more than ever that we are need a food drive for our community. This year’s food drive will start this coming Monday, November 16th and go until Saturday, November 21. Non-perishable food donations and personal hygiene items can be brought directly to Human Concerns, which is on the corner of Milwaukee Ave and 11th Ave. (1029 Milwaukee Ave). You may drop off items by driving your car to 11th Street (east side of the street) on the side of Human Concerns and open your trunk. We will get the items out of your trunk. If you want to donate, but would prefer not to come to Human Concerns there is a GoFundMe page for the food drive. All donations will go towards purchasing food. On-site donation hours are the following:
Monday, November 16 - 3:30PM-5:30PM
Tuesday, November 17 - 3:30PM-5:30PM
Wednesday, November 18 - 3:30PM-5:30PM
Thursday, November 19 - 3:30PM-5:30PM
Saturday, November 21 - 9AM-11AM
