STAAR Testing - Note for all families
Seguin Families,
Next week, April 9th and 10th, our 4th grade student will be taking the STAAR Writing assessment; and 5th grade students will be taking the STAAR Math and Reading assessments. Our campus will be closed to visitors on these two days. Please do not plan to come and eat lunch with your student during this time. A few testing reminders for our students taking a test next week: testing will begin promptly at 8:15 am, please make sure your student is rested and on time. Even though cell phones/technology are allowed on campus, they will not be allowed in testing rooms. Students must turn in all technology before testing begins. All other campus schedules will operate as normal, including buses, breakfast, lunch, and dismissal.
If you have testing day questions, please call 817-598-2814.

Seguin Choir Practice
Please make sure students are here prior to 7:15, if breakfast is needed. Students will need to eat breakfast before going to choir practice.
Safety Drills - April
Later this month, our campus will be practicing two safety drills. This month's drills will be an evacuation drill and shelter in place drill. We will be using our campus Remind App to communicate with families when drills are completed.
Campus Safety - Communication
Please join our Seguin Family Communication Remind 101 class by downloading the Remind 101 app and texting this message @kgage4 to 81010.
This communication method will be our primary communication tool in the event of a campus emergency or weather update where immediate communication with our families is needed.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need assistance connecting with this app!
Car Line Safety
Please be aware of student safety when picking up and dropping off students. All 4 lanes of the drive thru will be used for pick up and drop off. Students should enter the car from the sidewalk. If students enter or exit the car from the inside of the lane, we ask that a parent or faculty member assist the student. This is a safety concern as many cars are moving in the car lanes during pick up and drop off.
