A Christmas Carol

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a very interesting and great Christmas classic

A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens is a very interesting and great Christmas classic because it has a plot of a man becoming a better person, lots of good figurative language, and it gets everyone in the Christmas spirit. Scrooge becomes a better person throughout the story. In the beginning of the story he is a horrible person but after the ghosts visit him he becomes a great man. The book has a lot of figurative language. The figurative language really helps you visualize the story, so it feels like you are in the book with all the other characters. The great story gets every one in the Christmas spirit. There are heartwarming greetings and scrumshus Christmas dinners. On top of that, the story takes place during Christmas. So in conclusion, I would recommend this book to everyone capable of reading it because it is a great Christmas classic and is a wonderful book all around.

Sacrifice

Scrooge had to sacrifice his pride to the ghosts. He had to sacrifice it so that he could see his faults and problems to become a better person.

I had to sacrifice stealth for speed in night games. I was hiding in a tree when my friend came bounding over to check out the tree for hiders. I waited for just the right moment and bolted for the nearest house I knew someone saw me when I heard lots of yelling and shouting.
