Come see the fall play, “I Hate Shakespeare!”

With zombies, talking cows, and an appearance by Jerry Springer, “I Hate Shakespeare!” is a hilarious and fast-paced introduction to Shakespeare’s plays, both comedies and tragedies, with a modern twist. Plus, someone gets a pie in the face.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.

Thursday 11/4 at 7:00pm in the PAC at WMS

Friday 11/5 at 7:00pm in the PAC at WMS

Cell Phones

Please remind your student that it is a school wide expectation to have cell phones off or silenced in their backpacks or lockers from 800-315. If you need to reach your student you may call the main office and we can get a message to them. We do have phones in all classrooms so a message can get to them quickly.

If a student's cell phone is taken away they will be able to pick it up at the end of the day. After the 2nd time, a parent will need to pick it up.

Its Getting Cold Outside!

As the weather changes, more students will be wearing heavy coats. We ask that all heavy coats be placed in the student's locker during the day. During the day they may wear a light jacket or sweatshirt. All students have been issued a locker, if they do not remember their combination they can get it from their homeroom teacher.

Kleenex Donations

If any families are willing and able, WMS teachers would gladly accept Kleenex donations. You may drop them off in the main office.

Thank you!

Next week in homeroom we will do a lesson to kick off the Native American History Month. On Tuesday 7th graders will have a lesson on Online behavior while the 8th graders will complete Self Directed Search which they will use for career day in May. Finally homerooms will start on their fall door decorating contest sponsored by Student Council.

Westside Middle School participates in TAGG. TAGG has a growing list of participating businesses who will donate a portion of what you spend there to our school. WMS uses these funds to help support our school PBIS store and extra supplies teachers need throughout the year.

This is a fast and easy way to help our building without fundraising. Watch this video to see how it works. https://youtu.be/WS2u4s1J63c

Below is a list of business that participate in TAGG. Remember to select Westside Middle School!!
