UnConference is coming!
UnConference 2018 (#OnslowUN) is coming June 13, 2018! This year’s location is Dixon Middle School.
For those unfamiliar, UnConference is a OCS sponsored technology conference where you and/or your students have the opportunity to showcase their “digital skills”. If you’re not interested in presenting, drop into a session of your choosing to learn something new or just come by to check all the cool things going on in Onslow County Schools!
OCS is currently looking for any volunteers (staff or students) who may be interesting in presenting. See this link for last years lineup of topics to get a “flavor” of how UnConference works. http://ocsunconference.weebly.com/unconference-schedule.html
Let Mr. Simpson know if you (or your students) would like to be a presenter! Window for Proposals will begin Monday, February 12th. Topics likely to appear this year are: Microsoft Teams, OneNote ClassNotebook, Edmentum (Study Island, TestPacks, Accucess, etc), MakerSpace-type projects or activities, 1:1 strategies/best practices, Robotics, etc.
