Multi-Lingual Field Study Permission Forms

The elementary and secondary field study permission forms have been translated into five of the most common languages spoken in our district. These languages are Arabic, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The translated forms have been uploaded in our intranet. You can locate them by logging in to InsideTwo, going under the "Planning and Initiatives" department, and you will see a folder titled "Field Study Permission Forms".

Read to Succeed- Change in Date

Mrs. Michelle Taylor-Brown was initially planning to come on Wednesday, January 27th to discuss the new Read to Succeed add- on certification. The date for this meeting has been changed to Wednesday, February 3 during planning. Please plan accordingly. We apologize for the change in date but thank you for your flexibility.

2016 Calendar Changes

Please be advised of the changes to the calendar due to inclement weather:

Feb. 15th - Now a full day of school

April 28th- Now a full day for all students

April 29th- Now half-day for all students (inclement weather make-up day)

Safety Update

Thank you to everyone for making the necessary changes to comply with our safety requirements. We are still in the process of checking classrooms and will talk with you personally if additional changes need to be made. As a reminder, the path to the exit window in the classroom must be clear so that, in the case of emergency, students and teachers can safely escape. The window specified as the emergency window will be marked "emergency exit." If you have questions about the emergency exit, please ask Ms. Gore. Again, thank you for your attention to this matter.

Kudos again to Mrs. Geddings and Mr. Jenkins for leading our 1st Lego League team this year! These students have truly shined as engineers and we are so proud of them. These great strides couldn't have been accomplished without Coach Geddings and Coach Jenkins' leadership. Thank you!
