October
A Wonderful Start to the School Year!
This school year is off to a wonderful start. Thank you to all of you who attended our school events in September. We were happy to welcome families to our Parent Information Nights and the Annual Fall Festival! Our students have been busy here at school learning, but many have headed off campus to extend their learning. Our fifth graders learned in nature at Camp Eberhart, our fourth graders experienced the ice at Notre Dame, and our third graders learned a great deal at the planetarium. We are always learning in new and creative ways where at Walt Disney!
In October we have many other events planned! First, we will welcome parents at the end of the month for Parent/Teacher conferences. We will also have students traveling to the Snite museum at Notre Dame and much more. Please stay updated by checking the Walt Disney website.
Thank you for working with us to provide your student with the best educational experience!

Greetings from Miss Duerksen
It has been wonderful meeting many parents at our Parent Information Nights and Fall Festival. Thank you for joining us for those events! Soon you will see information come home regarding our Parent/Teacher Conferences. These meetings are so important for our teachers to get to know you, work as a team for the success of your child, and share the wonderful things we are doing here at school. Please mark these dates on your calendar!

5th Grade Camp
We had a wonderful 5th grade camp experience! The weather was perfect for students to fully enjoy all that Camp Eberhart has to offer. We climbed a rock wall, learned how to survive in the woods, had an archery class, paddled in canoes, roasted marshmallows, sang camp fire songs, and worked on team building activities. We learned a lot about each other!
Thanks to all students, parents, staff, and administration for helping to make this a memorable trip!
Thanks for the Fall Festival
