Wishing Everyone a Wonderful Vacation

We have ended 2018 at CMS with excitement and sharing. Our sixth grade enjoyed an amazing cultural day - learning about a variety of countries while sharing cultural foods and traditions from their families. It is always a special experience (and a delicious one) for our staff and students. It is amazing how easily conversation flows over a meal!

All grades participated in our annual GeoBee this morning. I could not be more proud of our students as they cheered on their team members through some very challenging questions. Everyone in the audience was supportive of our contestants. I never cease to be amazed by what our students know - the amount of knowledge required to be a finalist for the GeoBee and then to make it to the end is amazing! Congratulations to our winners:

Third Place: Mariela Abi Elias

Second place: John Cavanaugh

First place: Nicolas Jandru

I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in 2019!
