Dear teachers,

Hope you have a great weekend! Stay warm!

Dr. Leisa Justus

Principal, Blackman High School

BHS Chorus Veterans Day

Dr. McPhee and MTSU recognized BHS and The Collegiate Academy at the football game on November 7. They gave the school recognition for our innovative collegiate program, the highest number of dual enrollment students in Rutherford County, the partnership with MTSU, and for encouraging rigor in high school programming. They gave us a game ball, which will be in the front office for all to see!

Tech Minute

Watch and learn how to use task scheduler on your computer to remind you of events such as bell times and lunch. It’s easy - once set, your computer will open Windows Media Player (or other application) and play your pre-picked song.

The Epic BYOD Toolchest (51 Tools You Can Use Now)

Check out these BYOD tools for note-taking, formative assessments, screencasting, and more! Be sure to have accommodations for students who don't have a device (like sharing, using a desktop computer, having a hard copy handout). Make sure that a student who does not have a device does not feel singled out/slighted - they need to have every opportunity to learn, too.
