Fulton Flier

Week of March 22nd

Dear Fulton Families,

This past week, we were so excited to welcome our RECC-2nd grade students into the building for in-person learning! We look forward to having our 3rd-5th grade students join us next week- to help in this transition, we will be hosting a Parent Q&A for 3rd-5th grade families this Thursday, March 25th at 6:30pm.

As we return to the building, our focus continues to be around a sense of belonging for all of our students and staff. We would like to share a message of support and solidarity to our FES families in the Asian community. We are sickened by the increasing hate crimes and racism focused on Asian Americans.

As a school community we continue to stand against racism and hate of all forms. We encourage students and parents to report to us any instances of words or actions that cause any member of our community to feel unaccepted, uncomfortable, threatened, or less than others.

If you need resources or supports to talk to your child about racism, we have included a few below. If your child needs support, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Warmly,

Dr. Burks
