A little about me....
I am thrilled to facilitate this course for you and I look forward to working with you! I began to teach online for Butler Community College the Spring Semester of 2004 and absolutely love the online learning environment.
I share my blessed life with my husband Chuck and my two daughters. My husband and I moved to Kansas when we were both active duty Air Force in 1994 and have settled in quite nicely. We share our 10 acres with quite a menagerie that includes horses, dogs, cats, ducks, geese, and chickens. I love being outside working with my horses or doing yard work and gardening. I have always said I would much rather be in the barn mucking out stalls then in the house cleaning!!
I recently retired from the Air Force Reserves after having served for 24 years (both active duty and reserve). My experience in the Air Force was as a training manager for the most part, but I also served two tours as a First Sergeant.
Don't hesitate to contact me via Canvas message any time if you have any questions. I look forward to getting to know you better and helping you in any way I can to make your courses successful and engaging for our students.
Definitely what I would much rather be doing. I love gardening. It's so great to be able to eat fresh fruit and veggies that I have grown myself!
My world....what I live and breath for!
My animals keep us all very busy and broke, but the lessons they bring to us, especially our children, far outweigh any burden. At least, that's what Sweetie is telling me in this picture!
Butler Community College - Online Department
The Instructional Technology Department (Butler Online) exists to provide virtual learning opportunities for traditional and non-traditional students in the south central Kansas region. Our focus is general education, but we also provide career and technical education, developmental and non-credit courses. We seek to serve Butler Community College faculty by providing technology training and support services.
