Robstown ISD Migrant Summer School
Accelerated Instruction Summer 2016 June 7-23
Bright Beginnings and Project Smart (migrant students only)
Summer school for all Robstown ISD migrant students grades PK3-5 will be held Monday-Thursday from 8:30-2:00pm at Robert Driscoll Elementary School. Regular transportation will be provided to Ortiz and Driscoll students, and students of Lotspeich and San Pedro will be picked up and dropped off from their home campuses. Lotspeich and San Pedro students should be dropped off at 7:30am and picked up by 2:30pm.
Breakfast will be served 8:00-8:30 and lunch will be provided.
Accelerated instruction will be provided in Reading, Math and Writing Grades K-3 and students in grade 4-5 will also have Science.
Migrant students in grades 6-12 will attend summer school on their home campus.
One location for all students grades PK3-Grade 5
Students from PK, Robert Driscoll ES, Lotspeich ES, San Pedro ES and Ortiz Intermediate will all be served at one campus to maximize personnel and conserve resources. Pre-K students are not eligible for summer school unless they are served by migrant and/or bilingual programs. PK will send home separate information for those students. Eligible students at Seale Jr. High and Robstown High School will be served on those campuses and they will send out that information separately.
Transportation is provided if your student normally rides the bus
Students that normally attend Lotspeich or San Pedro will be picked up and dropped off from those campuses.
When?
June 7-June 23 Monday through Thursday ONLY- no Fridays.
8:30-2:00. Arrive at 8:00am for breakfast.
