PTA MEETING REMINDER!!
Our Odyssey of the Mind team is going to the WORLD Competition!
Now that the team is going to World's, we will need to help raise the funds to get us there, and to help pay for lodging and food while staying on the Michigan State campus. The World competition experience will be an amazing one for these kids, with other teams from all over the world coming to compete. There will also be engineering booths such as NASA participating as well. We will need to raise the funds by May 15th. Click the link to help our Penny Road students experience this great event.

An Original Poem from a 5th Grader....Maria Del Rocio
Where I'm From
I'm from a unique style, wooden toys and flower crowns.
I am from the love of a mother.
I am red roses and cactus.
I am from eating McDonald's with my sisters on a rainy day and sleeping next to my mother after a long day.
With amazing memories from mom, brothers, and sisters, step dad too.
From never saying I can't to I knew you could do it mi hija.
I am from Christianity that hold hands and pray together.
I am from Mexico where it is hot like spicy hot tamales make on Christmas days.
I am from bright memories that are like stars that shine at night.
I am from the endless memories and laughter I have with my family.
I am from photo albums in the closet and pictures on the wall.
I am Maria Del Rocio.
