Wednesday is Early Release Day for ALL Students

All Brownsburg students release 30 minutes early every Wednesday so teachers can attend PLC (Professional Learning Communities). This important time allows teachers to collaborate and communicate to add strategies to help all students succeed.

Students release at Harris: 2, Middle School: 2:05, BHS: 2:20, Elementary: 3:10

Preschool hours Wednesday: AM - 8:45-11:20, PM - 12:35-3:10

BCSC COVID Reporting Survey

Families must report positive COVID-19 cases to complete the contact tracing directed by the Hendricks County Health Department. If your student has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you complete an online survey to start the contact tracing process as quickly as possible. Getting accurate information directly from the family is the most efficient way to start identifying any close contacts to a positive case.

Free & Reduced Application for Curricular Materials Open Now

The free and reduced-price meal application for the 2021-22 school year is now available. It is important to note that a new application must be completed every year. Please complete one application per household. While meals will be free for all students again this year, it is very important for families who may qualify to complete this process as it could have an impact on the assessment of curricular material fees or other billing items throughout the year.

Please contact Nutrition Services at (317) 852-5726 x2095 or mealapp@brownsburg.k12.in.us with any questions.

Students Can Sign Up For Communications Through Remind

BCSC uses Remind as an option for teachers and coaches to communicate with families and students. If your student's teacher(s) uses Remind, you will hear from them. Parent contact information will automatically be directed into Remind from PowerSchool.

If your student would like to receive Remind messages from their teachers, you can sign them up with their student ID by sending a text to the phone number 81010. Put the corresponding school code below in the message of the text.

Students with smart devices that are not phones can download the Remind App and enter the corresponding code below after they click "Join a class".

*Remind is an option for teachers and coaches, but some will choose to utilize email or other methods.

BCSC Food and Clothing Pantry

The BCSC Food and Clothing Pantry launched in the summer of 2014 through a partnership with Gleaners Food Bank. Thanks to the hard work of community and staff volunteers and Applied Skills students in the Collaborators for Success program at BHS, the pantry continues to serve many families in Brownsburg. BCSC families have also contributed donations to help make the pantry a great resource for our community.

The pantry will serve families again on 7/29 from 3pm-5:30pm in a drive thru setting and always on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Thursdays of the month. Visitors can pull up to door #7 at the ALPHA/Harris Academy building, 725 C South Green Street.

If you have questions about the pantry, please contact Tracy Damone at tdamone@brownsburg.k12.in.us.
