Library Updates for 1st week of October

Library-to-go curbside check out begins this Thursday, Oct. 8 from 11am to 12pm. You can help your students support the PTO’s Read S’more Books Read-A-Thon by checking out a bundle of preselected books!


Our Bookmobile bus route begins next Tuesday, Oct 13 after 1:30pm. Please note our stops and schedule will not be available until Friday, Oct 9.


Want to check out specific books or types of books? Read about how to search our catalog and get in touch with Mrs. Turinsky in our Hazeldale Library newsletter.


Beginning Thursday, Oct 15 you can swing by the school from 7:45am to 8:15am and Mrs. Turinsky will have books that have been placed on hold ready for a quick pick-up. (This is only for families who have requested books through our Destiny catalog, new Google Form or emailed with specific requests.)

Free Meals for Kids!

REMINDER: You must wear a face mask. No pets allowed except for service animals.


Option 1: Pick up at Hazeldale on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon


Option 2: Go to a bus stop to get meals: (These are close to Hazeldale)
  • Pine Ridge Park, 11:00 - 11:20 a.m.
  • Hazeldale Park, SW 196th Ave + SW Sumac Court, 11:00 - 11:20 a.m.
  • SW Skiver Dr @ Skiver Park, 11:30 - 11:50 a.m.

PTO Read-A-Thon Starts Next Week!

Have you registered your reader for the Read S'More Books Read-A-Thon!? Just go to pledgestar.com/Hazeldale and click on "not registered for this event". You can share via Facebook as well as send requests to friends and family! See attached pictures for creating profile, entering minutes into the online reading log and the current Leaderboard per class! Email hazeldalehawkspto@gmail.com with any questions.
