Principal's Newsletter
From the Desk of Ms. Clark
April 11, 2019
Dear Parents,
“Hosanna to the Son of David; Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest!” As our church celebrates Palm Sunday this Sunday, and Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem, we begin the most holy of weeks.
As we enter this solemn week and journey with Jesus through his Last Supper and Agony and Death on the Cross, I invite you to our 7th and 8th grade production of “The Passion Play.” Our students have worked hard during their many practices under the careful direction of Monsignor Marine and Mrs. Garner, and the many assistants that assist with the show. This performance will certainly set the tone for Holy Week as you journey with our students who will perform the Passion of our Lord.
There are two evening performances due to the usual large turnout. You can attend Sunday night or Monday night. Both shows begin at 7:30pm in the school gym. There is an admission fee of $5 for adults and $4 for children over the age of 12. I hope you and your family will join us.
As our Lenten journey comes to an end, let us be transformed knowing that what appeared to be death has become, instead, a source of life. On behalf of Monsignor Marine, Father Mike, and our faculty and staff, I wish you a blessed Easter as we rejoice in our Savior’ s love and accept his gift of abiding hope!
God’s blessings,
Ms. Clark
