From the Eagle's Nest!
Dear Families,
Kindergarten information for the 2016-17 school year will be coming home with your child on Monday. Please read this over as it contains important information about Kindergarten, Alliance Charter School, and Kindergarten Readiness (summer school).
Information about the 4K program for the 2016-17 school year will be sent home with current EC students and will be mailed to all other age-eligible families next week.
If you know someone who is interested in the 4K program for next year, please have them check the NJSD website as more information will be posted next week.
Thanks!
Mrs. Nelson
Please mark your calendars!
Upcoming Dates:
Wednesday, January 27: Progress Reports will be sent home for all EC students
Thursday, January 28: Box Tops DUE today
Friday, January 29: NO SCHOOL (Staff Professional Learning Day)
Friday, February 5: Progress Reports will be sent home for all 4K students
We are in need of your HELP!
Are you interested in a part-time job either half or full days? I can go over qualifications and the process to be considered, if you are interested.
Please call me, or send me an email, to schedule a brief meeting to discuss further.
Thanks!

Box Tops!
Please send any Box Tops, that are not expired, to school with your child in a baggie. Please label the baggie with the name of your child’s teacher, and indicate if they are in the AM or PM class.
The class that collects the most Box Tops wins an ice cream sundae party! Ice cream will be provided by the PTO. This is a great opportunity for everyone to help raise money for our school!
Absence Policy
- Child's name
- Child's teacher
- Reason for absence
We will record this information in our attendance system, and let your child's teacher know.
If you do not call the office, you should expect a call from us.
Please let us know if you have any specific questions!
Schwan's Cares Fundraiser
Do you, or someone you know, order from Schwan's home delivery?
Schwan’s makes it very easy for us all to enjoy over 350 delicious food and desserts that they provide. Your food will be delivered to you at your convenience; they even provide a freezer bag for you if you will not be home for the delivery (it will even keep your ice cream cold on a hot summer day). You will need to provide a credit card on your first order, however your card will not be charged until your food is delivered, so if you prefer to pay by another option you may do so at time of delivery.
Remember to enter our fundraiser number when ordering (ID 24820), and we earn a percentage of your order for our Washington PTO! The first 45 days of our campaign earns us a larger percentage, so please consider ordering early!
Catalogs are available in the office! If you would like one sent home with your child, please call the office or send a note with your child's teacher.
