Filters for Flint!
After hearing that our 5th graders donated their free market day money to Flint they inspired me. Market Day was last month but we all know that the Flint water crisis has not gone away! I would like to do our part as an IB school to help. Mr. Potter and I will be collecting donations to help buy filters for Flint. All donations should be turned into the main office with Filters for Flint written on the envelope. All checks should be made out to Keller Elementary School. The collection will start today and run until March 31st.

Staff Professional Development
*We are respectful
*We are safe and in control
*We are responsible learners
I will act in such a way that I will be proud of myself and others will be proud of me too.
I came to school to learn and I will learn.
I will have a good day.
Learner Profile Highlights
Don’t forget that the highlighted monthly learner profile and weekly behavior focus is on the Google calendar (every Sunday).
Election Day 3/8
Keller will be used as a precinct voting for the presidential primary election scheduled for March 8th, while school is in session. I have worked closely with the city clerk to determine the location in the building they will be using. We have identified the music room as the best place as it has a direct access door within the classroom as well as close parking lot access. I will also have staff and parent volunteers that will sit outside the music room as friendly faces for our students and as reminders that the doors are not to be entered by students.
