History
It is claimed they originated as the compaions of temple priests in North-Western Burma.Their first appearance in the West was in France in 1919.The transfer from East to West remains a mystery with little documentation of the cat's actual history until further along their timeline. The French registries recognized the Birman as a natural breed in 1925.Many other countries have considered birman cats as a French breed since that day.
Grooming
You will need to comb their fur at least once a week but you can comb it daily if you want.Like all cats their fur will molt in the spring so try to give them a little extra grooming during that part of the year.
Feeding
Like all cats chocolate and sugar are poisonous to them (NEVER FEED IT TO THEM) other than that you can just feed them normal cat food.
