THIS TUESDAY, MARCH 9 THE DISTRICT SCHEDULE VARIES FOR GRADE LEVELS AS FOLLOWS:

- JUNIORS: Report at 7:40am for ACT Tests
ACT Test In-Person for Juniors- March 9- Freshmen, Sophomores & Seniors to have Remote Learning
State law requires that schools administer a state-funded ACT or SAT to all students in grade 11 in the spring of the school year. On Tuesday, March 9, 2021, Elida High School will be administering the ACT to juniors at no cost to students. In order to test students safely in a smaller setting, all other students attending Elida High School ONLY will be working in a remote environment on Tueday, March 9. Completing the ACT will require all EHS juniors, including those in a remote educational setting or participating in College Credit Plus, to report in-person.
While this date was previously scheduled to be a two-hour delay for the district, testing protocols require students to begin testing prior to the scheduled delayed time. For this reason, juniors ONLY will report in-person on March 9th at 7:40 and will be provided a complimentary breakfast in the cafeteria. All other high school grade levels will be required to complete a remote assignment for each class they are enrolled. READ MORE HERE.

Senior Woodworking Project: Logan Develvis
Logan Develvis, a Senior in Construction Tech Design and Build II, built a Classic Bookcase for his dad. This piece has concealed knock-down hardware with adjustable shelves, so even with the size, it is easy and convenient to move. He built it out of Red Oak, stained it Early American, and then finished with lacquer. Great job, Logan, and thanks to Mr. Amstutz for his instruction.

New Elementary Update
Child Identity Theft information
Child identity theft occurs when someone fraudulently uses a child’s identity to fraudulently open accounts or receive benefits. The imposter may be a family member, friend or a stranger and may use the child’s name and Social Security number to open new accounts for cell phones, utilities, credit cards and even mortgages.
Imposters may get away with using a child's identity for years because children typically do not try to check or access credit. As a result, child identity theft usually is not discovered until the child applies for college financial aid, a car loan or employment.
To help combat this problem, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has launched a video aimed at parents to understand what a child security freeze is and how to place a freeze.Cheerleading Tryouts
