2023 Virginia Student Survey
As shared in our December 2022 newsletters (Wildcat Chats), our students will be participating in the 2023 Virginia School Climate Survey. We will be participating on Monday, January 9, with students completing the survey during an extended CLAWS Club (Advisory). Our school uses the results of this survey to plan strategies for supporting the academic, social-emotional, and safety needs of our students. More information about this survey may be found here.
8th Grade Basketball Student Interest Form
The WMS Second Annual Staff vs. 8th Grade Student Basketball Game is coming soon! Mark your calendars, as this event will be held on Wednesday, March 15, at Lightridge High School, starting at 6:30 p.m.
NEW in 2023: Besides the highly anticipated basketball game, this year's event will also include a three-point contest and knockout tournament during the intermission. Between all three basketball options, students will only be able to participate in one event. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mr. Jo at Alex.Jo@lcps.org.
Holiday & Heritage Student Survey
As a school that is rich in culture and heritage, we want to continue to learn from our students about the holidays, traditions, and historical contributions that are meaningful to them! We invite our scholars to complete this survey if they are interested in sharing their stories as a feature in our Willard media outlets, including Wake Up Willard and the Wildcat Chat. Thank you for your consideration and hopeful participation!
