Klager PTO Talent Show
Wednesday, Feb. 24th, 6:30pm
Our very own second-grade student, Jesse Buono, has been awarded a wonderful opportunity. Jesse was picked in a lottery to participate in the KTM Youth Challenge. It's an exhibition race for 7 and 8-year-olds, who meet the qualifications, that is held at an AMA National Supercross event. It will be held on February 20 at The AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas, where the Dallas Cowboys play. So if you watch you may just see your classmate and friend on TV. It will be broadcasted on Fox Sports. The race will be held between the 250 and 450 Main Events. The participants are students from all across the country. They will get the "Pro treatment" for the day. They will meet some of their favorite pro riders, have an autograph signing, and be a big part of the whole experience. Jesse, his big brother Jake (who is also a Motocross Racer) Mom and Dad are so excited to go. Good Luck Jesse!
The team is gearing up for a Spaghetti dinner and movie night. They have secured staff members to serve you dinner before the movie night begins. They will have presale tickets available to guarantee seating and food supplies.
Movie nights got off the ground last year with the goal of raising money for Klager projects.
The movies are free and all of our profit comes from the concessions. We are currently saving our money to pay next year's portion of the Leader in Me grant repayment and some staff appreciation.
Attendance and Tardy letters
We have also taken notice of the families who have scheduled outside appointments before and after school. This is so appreciated.
Any information about illness is helpful and will be recorded. It will also help us to look for trends.
