6th grade Science!
Welcome to Mrs. Roff's science class!!!!!
August 2014
I wanted to take a moment to just introduce myself to all of you. I am trying this newsletter style to see how it works and also to eliminate paper :). My name is Marcy Roff and this is my 3rd year teaching at Norwalk. I have taught a total of 8 years in public education. I was also a head college softball coach for 7 years in Nebraska at Dana College. I graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines (many years ago), and Simpson College in 1997. I played college softball and loved every minute of it!!! I have always loved sports and being active.
My goal this year for each of my students is to enhance their thinking. I know each student thinks differently and it is my goal to dig into those creative brains and help them learn science and more. I do enjoy having fun and playing jokes, so I am sure you will hear this from your child! All in all, school should be FUN!
Please feel free to contact me via email at: mroff@norwalk.k12.ia.us. I am looking forward to an enjoyable year!
