Warrior Spotlight
We are pleased to announce that Jayla Harris, an 11th grade student at Nansemond River High School, has auditioned and has been accepted into the 2022 High School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. Through the High School Honors Performance Series, selected finalists rehearse and perform under master conductors and have the opportunity to meet other like-minded musicians from around the world. Though much of the students' time is focused on performance preparation, the program also allows students to experience New York City's wonderful sights and performing arts scene. Jayla will be traveling to New York City for this opportunity, and we are so very proud of her for this accomplishment!
