Language in the U.S. is a main language of English, but in Denmark the top languages in Denmark are Denmark and a pre-dominant 2nd language of English. Denmark has a state religion of Evangelical Lutheran and the U.S. does not have state supported religions. A similarity between the U.S and Denmark is in the language category is that both countries have a top 4 language of English.Another similarity between the 2 countries is that Denmark and the U.S. both have German as a very popular language. The U.S. speaks over 350 languages while Denmark only speaks 8 total languages. The pre-dominate 2nd in Denmark and in the U.S. it is Spanish. A difference between Denmark and U.S. religion is that Denmark has a state supported religion while the U.S. does not. The U.S has many religious groups and Denmark has few religious groups. Both the U.S. and Denmark constitutions state that the citizens have freedom of religion which is great since we both have that freedom. Both countries also have a significant Roman Catholic religious group with Denmark at 3% of population are members and the U.S. at 20.8% of population as members.
