Summer 2019

Pacific Intermediate Library

Why read?

Did you know...research shows people who read are smarter, make more money, are happier, and are more empathetic than those who don't read?

Why? Because reading:

  • reduces stress
  • improves memory
  • builds analytical thinking skills
  • improves focus and concentration
  • keeps your brain active and engaged
  • expands vocabulary and knowledge
  • improves our emotional intelligence and increases empathy
