Homecoming Dance Ticket Information
Homecoming Dance is October 6!
Ticket sales will begin Monday, September 24 during both lunches (no sales on Wednesdays) until October 5th or until tickets sellout.
Guest passes must be turned in and be approved by September 26th. Tickets for guests outside Westview will NOT be sold until October 4th and 5th. If you are plan on bringing a guest from outside Westview you should have a backup plan to go with friends from Westview, as tickets are limited.
If you are buying a ticket for a guest who goes to Westview, you must have your guest's ID in order to purchase their ticket.

Tuesday 9/25: We will have 6 industry partners visiting our students during both lunches. Students will be able to connect with Plumbers, various Electricians, Boilermakers, Ironworkers, and Sheet Metal workers.

Meal Benefits expire on Monday, October 8th, 2018
TIME TO REAPPLY!
Families who are currently receiving meal benefits, who have not yet applied for meal benefits for the 2018-2019 school year, must reapply before October 8th to continue to receive free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch for their children. Unless the Meal Benefits Office has received and approved an Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals by 10/08/18, meals will be charged at full price as shown below:
- Breakfast: Elementary School $1.45 - Middle School $1.50 - High School $1.60
- Lunch: Elementary School $3.05 - Middle School $3.25 - High School $3.60
Please complete an application for Free and Reduced Price Meals right away if you haven’t yet applied for the 2018-2019 school year. Applications are available in school cafeterias and school offices.
If you’d rather complete an application online, go to www.schoolcafe.com.

PSAT
PSAT:
What: October 13th PSAT at Westview
Sept. 17th Registration for the PSAT, offered Saturday, Oct. 13th, opens. On October 13, 2018, Westview High School will host the PSAT. The PSAT is a preparatory version of the SAT exam. Students can only take the PSAT once per year, and most students take the test in both 10th or 11th grade. If you earn a high score on the PSAT your junior year, you could qualify to receive a National Merit Scholarship. Testing your skills in reading, writing, and math, the PSAT test is 2 hours and 45 minutes long.
Cost: $35
Space is limited, so registration will be open to juniors only and then all grades.
Sept 17th - Sept. 28th Open to Juniors
Oct. 1st-5th Open to Sophomores
Details:
You can only register before school, after school, or during lunch. DO NOT register during class time.
Register by bringing cash or check to the Business office and then bring your receipt to Ms. Fix to pick up the information of what you will need for the test day (no online registrations at this time).

PARENTVUE ACCESS
If you have an active ParentVue account, enrollment verification needs to be updated every year. Please be sure you have verified your student's enrollment (any changes in phone number, email address, emergency contact info, etc). Also, if you have an active Online Payment account through ParentVue, you can pay past fees, purchase a yearbook, purchase an ASB sticker, or pay Chromebook insurance from home (see school website for link to the payment system). If you haven’t activated your ParentVue account, the District sent out information about how to do this in early August. You can call Westview if you need assistance. If you need help accessing the payment system, please contact the school. You can also read additional information at the following link: Online Payment
