Volunteers Needed: Summer Rocks
The PTO is seeking volunteers to join a committee to organize Summer Rocks, a family event at the end of the school year to highlight the fun summer activities around town your student can enjoy during the summer months. Traditionally, there is a DJ on the playground, a free dinner and fun games, all taking place in our playground space. The committee will reach out to find local groups who can attend the event, as well as coordinate food and games. Summer Rocks will take place on Wednesday, June 1st in the evening. Email email@example.com to learn more!
Conference Dinner Donations Needed
The PTO is pleased to treat teachers and staff to a catered meal on the evenings of parent-teacher conferences ... but we need your help! To offset the cost of 45 meals, please consider a donation to our Clive PTO. Venmo us at @Clive-PTO. We are also looking for 12-packs of Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Diet Mountain Dew and bottled water to use for both nights. Please deliver them to the office by the morning of February 18. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Penny Wars start in two weeks! (Feb. 28 through Mar. 4)
Save your change and bring it to school for the 2022 Penny War. The grade with the most money at the end of the week will get a pizza party lunch, but everyone wins by raising money for the school to spend on things such as classroom parties, field trips, playground enhancements, books and more! See more details at https://fb.me/e/1eUCZJqWG.
Thanks to HyVee for spoiling our teachers and staff!
Special thanks to store manager Shawn Patterson and all the folks at our Windsor Heights HyVee for donating a catered dinner to our PTO! We'll use this generous donation (almost $650 value!) to spoil our staff the first evening of parent-teacher conferences, February 24, with a pasta buffet with all the fixings!
The Playground Committee will meet again on February 17 at noon. Emails us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details!
Thank you to Jason's Deli!
Our February fundraiser at Jason's Deli raised over $200! Thank you to everyone who participated (and sorry about the wait for some people). Fundraisers like this help support parties, field trips, and books at CLA.
