CAST STEM Principal's Weekly Update
January 14, 2022
CAST STEM families,
We want to thank you for your patience and grace over the last two weeks as staff and students are isolating or quarantining at home. We are so thankful that SWISD supports weekly COVID testing with Community Labs so that we learn of asymptomatic positives to help isolate and slow the spread of COVID. Our goal is to support a safe and healthy campus community for all. Please continue to encourage your scholars to mask up, sanitize hands frequently, and maintain social distancing. COVID testing is optional and available to your scholar. Scroll to the link below to sign up.
We hope for a quick recovery to good health for all of our families. Don't worry if you missed your final exam this week. Our facilitators will work with each scholar to make up exams. Friday is our exam makeup day but our team has also chosen to give an "I" for Incomplete grades to give scholars more time to complete exams before January 31, 2022.
We hope you enjoy a wonderful 3-day weekend. There is no school on Monday, January 17.
In gratitude,
Ravae V. Shaeffer
