A Message from the Director
Greetings Team-
Thank you all for your feedback during the Gallup survey step back! I really appreciate the awesome solutions that were given. My hope is that you see the shifts that have already been made based on your feedback; especially around: clarity in communication and expectations, working Wednesdays, differentiated support, morning huddle, and development, just to name a few. Feedback is a gift and I value your opinions to ensure that we are always getting better and better!
As the week progresses, I want us to remember the spark we had when we first thought about what life would be like, if we could impact the future of this country in a positive way. Think about the spark that made you smile in that moment. Was it the scholar who was finally able to read a passage without hesitation? Did it come from the scholar who came in 3 grade levels behind and who is now on grade level after one year of Heartwork and Competence? Or was it the parent who finally said thank you for all that you do for my child? Whatever it is, I want you to remember and act on it.
It is time for us to level up in our expectations and in our actions. We must demonstrate to scholars that we will be accountable to them and we will be accountable to each other. We will go as far as you desire for us to go! So push hard, go hard, and win for the sake of our children, the future of this country!
The Dream Team Will Fight!
Sincerely,
Director Parks
