A Message From Our Superintendent

November 30, 2020

Dear GPISD School Community,

December is upon us! At the end of this month, we will bid 2020 farewell. Whether you have been personally affected by COVID-19 or not, I think we can all agree that the pandemic has taught us valuable lessons, including that we must be prepared to face and overcome all of the unexpected twists and turns life throws our way, and to remember to find a way, even in the bleakest of times, to indulge our need for love and laughter with those closest to us.

My wishes for you and your families this holiday season are simple: enjoy each other's company, and please take care of yourselves and each other. The older I get, the more I value good health, and I include continued good health for you and your loved ones in my holiday wishes.

Please be safe and make good choices throughout this holiday season. Let us all be well-rested and ready to embrace the new year.

May All of Your Holiday Wishes Come True,

John C. Moore, Jr., Ed.D.

Superintendent of Schools
