A Message from Principal Ghereben!
Thank you to all the parents who were able to join the virtual PTA meeting this week. It was great to see all your faces, and have the opportunity to share with you my most recent Principal's Report to the community. I have attached this presentation to this newsletter for those who were unable to attend.
Also, please read through all the scheduled events that will be happening during these last few weeks of school. As always, please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Heather Ghereben
Proctor Principal
Proctor School Family Car Parade, Friday May 22nd!
On Friday, May 22nd, we will be hosting a Family Car Parade! What this means is that all Proctor students and families will be invited to drive through the Large Lower Parking lot where teachers will be spread out along the center of the parking lot, the stairs, and along the drop-off zone to greet students and families as they slowly enter and circle through the Parking lot.
To help with the flow of traffic, we are asking all cars to make a right-hand turn as they exit the parking. Signs will be posted!
To also help prevent traffic issues, we will have staggered start times by LAST NAMES:
A-G 12:00pm - 12:20pm
H-M 12:20pm - 12:40pm
N-S 12:40pm - 12:50pm
S-Z 12:50pm - 1:00pm
For the SAFETY of ALL, families MUST be in cars at ALL times, and NO walk-throughs will be permitted!
See Picture Below for the parade route!

Student Belongings' Pick-Up!
Please connect with your classroom teachers about where students' classroom belongings will be located to pick-up on the following days....
- Tuesday, May 26th from 12:00pm to 3:00 - Families with the last names A-M
- Wednesday, May 27th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm - Families with the last names N-Z
Also on these days:
- 4th/5th grade families - If your child has an instrument to be returned, please drop it off in the office. If your 5th grade student will continue to take instrumental music in middle school, you can keep your instrument over the summer to practice.
- If you checked out a Proctor Chromebook during DL, you may choose to keep it over the summer UNLESS your child WILL NOT be returning to CVUSD. All 5th grade students may also choose to keep their Chromebook over the summer TILL July, or turn it into the office on your designated day listed above.
- Chromebook exchanges for the 2020-2021 school year will be communicated in July
- ALL Library Books will need to returned on these days! A bin/box will be located near the door of your child's classroom, and also at the entrance of the Library door.
- If your child has a medication being stored in the office, you will need to pick it up on these designated days. Ms. Kwan and Ms. Dugan will be in the office to handle this distribution.
As you come on campus, please practice social distancing protocols that are posted on each school entrance. Masks should be worn, and no lingering or socializing on campus will be allowed. Please do not allow your children on the playground structures while on campus.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about these Pick-Up Days.
If you cannot attend either of these days, a future date in June will be communicated.
