Language Arts
Our Journey's selection this week is called They Called Her Molly Pitcher by Anne Rockwell. We are focusing on conclusions and generalizations as well as analyzing and evaluating text to better our comprehension skills. Our essential question is "How do individual acts of bravery shape history?". On Friday of this week (5/6) we will take our vocabulary, comprehension, and grammar tests for lesson 13.
Writing
In writing this week, we will continue working on introduction and concluding paragraphs along with color coding our work. Our final writing assessment is coming up, and we are preparing for that as well.
Science
In science this week we are continuing our research in the Sun, Moon, and Planets. We are studying elements of our solar system and discussing how they interact with one another.
