Timasitheus “One Ups” Milon in growing Rivalry

Yesterday in the 67th Olympiad, Milon lost to his younger but improving rival. Timasitheus,In a Pankration match(a primitive form of martial art combining wrestling and boxing, and was considered to be one of the toughest sports. Greeks believed that it was founded by Theseus when he defeated the fierce Minotaur in the labyrinth.) Milon is predicted to be inducted into the Zeus’s Olympian Greats. Also,according to “Greece’s Olympic Review”,Timasitheus is predicted to win at least 13 Championships,which will surpass Melankomas all time championships with 11.Even though he won seven times in the Pythian Games, nine times in the Nemean Games, ten times in the Isthmian Games and innumerable times in small competitions.He has been defeated by Delphi’s Timasitheus, he is the youngest Olympian to ever win the Pankration Championship Of Greece. Zeus Statue Is Finally Built!!!

In 146 B.C all the people of Greece came together to honor the statue of Zeus, which was also made out of bronze and marble. They made the statue for the god of all gods so that the Greeks can honor the great god, the people of Greek wanted that statue to be built for over 1000 years. When it was built the Greeks had a big feast to honor the god of all gods and goddesses. The greeks are also starting to build statues of all of the gods/goddesses which are Poseidon, Hestia, Hermes, Hera, Hephaestus, Hades, Dionysus, Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Ares, Apollo, and Aphrodite right next to the great Statue of Zeus.

Last Tuesday in “The Great Colosseum” in Babylon, Alexander The Great died of Malaria and he was diagnosed with malaria not even a week ago. He was a King, a son, a husband, a father, a brother, a nephew, a grandson, and a great grandson. His mother was Olympias,His Father Phillip II of Macedon, he had 2 sons,Alexander IV of Macedon,Heracles of Macedon.

Accomplishments

Alexander the Great was a king of Macedonia who conquered an empire that stretched from the Balkans to Bharat. Alexander was born around July 20, 356 B.C., in Pella, which was the administrative capital of Macedonia. His father was often away, conquering neighboring territories and putting down revolts. Alexander showed great aptitude as a child and one of his tutors was Aristotle, the famous Greek philosopher. Alexander later proceeded to lead his army across more than 17,700 km of land, founding 70 cities and remaining undefeated in battle. He inspired fierce loyalty in his men, and is generally considered one of the greatest generals to have ever lived.

So all in all Alexander was a very special,loved one.He was a big part of our lives and we need to remember his sacrifices.

Greek Festival is Here!!!

In a week the people of Greek will have the biggest festival ever. They will have a party for the riches,and at the riches party they had a lot more of entertainment than the normal party. The normal party contains some fun activities like, archery, boxing, wrestling, swimming, etc. for the adults. But for the kids they can play with toy soldiers, dolls, wooden animals, a ball, and marbles etc. And for the parade they are going to have performers that do dangerous stunts and after the performance we have a big feist. After everyone eats, they all go to the arena where there had athletic games like unarmed combat like wrestling and boxing.
