Micro Elementary School Newsletter
April 8th, 2019
Congratulations Mrs. Hart on being passed the Great Teammate Award. Mrs. Yelverton passed the "rock" to Mrs. Hart because she stepped up immensely this year for Science Olympiad by organizing and leading the team of students, staff, and volunteers. They finished 8th out of 21 (Top Ten!) teams. They placed in several events and had a great overall day Saturday at the Science Olympiad Competition. Way to go Mrs. Hart and Team!!!
Each student counts and every moment matters!
Micro Elementary is the small school where BIG things happen...thanks to you!

Please begin dismissal procedures at the appropriate time. It seems that sometimes we get moving in the afternoons a little early.
Be sure to introduce your grade level goals to students for the May 10th Goal Party. We want students to be working toward clear goals.
Personal Leave Info: a teacher who requests personal leave at least five days in advance shall be automatically granted the request subject to the availability of a substitute teacher. A teacher making the request cannot be required to provide a reason for the request if the request is made at least five days in advance.
Safety News: A big risk area for injuries at work are slips and falls. High risk areas for slips and falls are near mats, water sources, entrances, cafeteria, and in the kitchen. Please use caution signs when necessary and clean/report hazards such as spills. Wear safe footwear.
