Athletic News
Winter 1 season started Monday, October 23rd. If your student is interested in trying out for the following sports, please contact the coach directly.
Remember, before your student can participate, they must have a current physical exam dated after April 15, 2023. This form must be on file with the school before your student can practice or try-out. Physical forms are available in the main office. You can also find them on the MHSAA website. Don't forget, the pay-to-participate fee for a middle school student is $100.
Winter 1 Meet the Team is Thursday, October 26th: 6:00PM - 7:00PM in the Middle School Gym.
Attendance Phone Calls
If your student is marked "unexcused" absent for any part of the day, you will now receive an automated phone call to let you know. This can serve as your reminder to call in your student's absence as "excused" or let you know if your student was marked absent for only one hour in the middle of the day!
If your child is going to be absent or late to school on any given day,
please call the absence line at 810-591-2810.
Yearbook
Students are encouraged to purchase a yearbook early! Yearbooks are $40 and can be purchased through the Walsworth website.
If your student is in 8th grade and is interested in helping put the yearbook together, please contact Mr. Roy. Students interested in working on the yearbook should join the Google Classroom for more information about times and jobs available.
Important Reminder
Unless students are involved in specific after-school activities (with adult supervision), or are working directly with staff, they are NOT allowed to "hang out" in the building after school.
Thank you for your cooperation!
